Data pri­vacy

Our policy on data protection can be found below.

1. Data Con­trol­ler

The data the User provides will be processed by Zumbach Electronic AG with registered office in Hauptstrasse 93, CH-2552 Orpund, Switzerland (hereinafter, the “Data Controller”) for the purposes set out in the following point. You can contact the Data Controller by sending an email to privacy@zumbach.ch or by phoning +41 32 356 04 00 or
can be contacted in writing at the address Zumbach Electronic AG, Privacy, Hauptstrasse 93, CH-2552 Orpund.

2. Pur­pose of Data Pro­cessing

The Data Controller processes the data for the following purpose through the website www.zumbach.com; without prejudice to having to submit the corresponding information before the data can be obtained from the relevant forms:

a. Managing the subject’s participation in the Data Controller’s selection processes.
– Storage time: The data will be stored for two (2) years.
– Legal basis: Subject’s consent.

b. Sending the subject commercial information about the Data Controller’s products and services by post, email and fax.
– Storage time: – Storage time: for as long as the Subject wishes to receive these communications.
– Legal basis: Subject’s consent.

c. Answering the questions the Subject asks the Data Controller.
– Storage time: – Storage time: The data will be stored until the questions the Subject asked have been answered.
– Legal basis: Subject’s consent.

We inform you that you can withdraw the consent you have given at any time, without affecting the legality of the processing done previously by the Data Controller.

3. Ob­lig­a­tion to Provide Data

The Subject must provide all the information marked as mandatory in the aforementioned data collection forms so that we can, in each case, meet the Subject’s requests.

4. Re­cip­i­ents of Your Data

The Data Controller hires third parties to process the data in order to provide the relevant services. Specifically, the Data Controller has signed agreements with the following service providers:

  • Hostpoint as an email provider.
  • Hostpoint as a web hosting provider.
  • HubSpot for mailings (Newsletter, Campaigns)

Additionally, the Data Controller will communicate the data to the group branch offices and agencies, always for the purpose for which the data was collected:

Your data will not be transferred to other third parties. If, for some reason, it is necessary to communicate said data to third parties, you will be informed beforehand and, when appropriate, your consent will be requested. Additionally, the purpose of the communication, as well as the identity of the third party to whom the data will be sent, will be specified.

The above applies with the exception of the cases in which a legal requirement makes it obligatory to communicate said data to a third party.

5. Rights

The Users who provide us with their data have the following rights:

a. Right to gain access
b. Right to correct or delete the data
c. Right to restrict processing
d. Right to portability
e. Right to object to processing
f. Right to revoke consent

To exercise these rights, send an email to privacy@zumbach.ch. Clearly state which right you wish to exercise and provide a copy of your ID as proof of identity. You may also send your request by post to the registered office of the Data Controller listed in point 1 of this Privacy Policy.

Additionally, you may make a complaint to the competent Watchdog, based on Art. 77 of the GDPR. The right to appeal can be enforced before a supervisory authority in the Member State of your residence, in your workplace or where the alleged infringement occurred.

6. Ori­gin of the Data

All the data collected was provided by the Subject.

Cook­ies Policy

This Cookies Policy, which we make available to the User, contains all the details about how cookies are used on our Website. We advise Users to read this Cookies Policy frequently, as it can be updated at any time.

1. What are Cook­ies?

Cookies are small files installed on the User’s computer when they access a website. According to storage time:

Are those used to collect and store data on the User accessing the Website and are deleted once the User leaves.

Are those that have a determined duration in time set by the User. The storage time can vary from a few minutes to several years. They are used to save and retrieve certain parameters each time the User visits the Website.

According to purpose:

These are essential and strictly necessary for the Website to function properly, and to use the different options or services we offer. For example, those required for session maintenance, response time management, performance or validation of options, to use security elements, share content in social media, etc.

Are those that let the User specify or customize some features of the web page, for example, to define the language, regional configuration or browser type.

Are those that let us track and analyse the User’s behaviour on our Website to develop navigation profiles to know user preferences. They are used to measure user activity in order to improve the service we offer based on the results we obtain. For example, an analytical cookie would control the geographic areas of greatest interest to a User, which is the product or service with the most acceptance, etc.

d. Advertising cookies:
Are those that let us manage the advertising spaces on the Websites.

e. Behavioural advertising cookies:
Are those used to manage advertising spaces on our Website. The function of these cookies is to store information on the behaviour of website users, to then show customized advertising.

3. What cook­ies do we use?

Cookie name: _ga, _gat, _gid, _gcl_aw
Purpose and duration: Used to obtain figures on browsing and for web page analysis. The _gat, _gcl_aw and _gid cookies are valid until the end of the session, _ga cookies will expire in two years’ time.

4. How to Dis­able or De­lete Cook­ies?

Users can, at any time, disable or delete the cookies listed through the browser settings’ options used on their end device or interface. Users should note that, if they reject or delete the technical cookies for the web page, we will not be able to maintain their preferences and some features will not be enabled. We thus will not be able to offer customized services, and each time the User browses our Website we will have to request authorization to use cookies again.
